Do you think there’ll be a 2nd wave?

With all the demonstrations happening around the world, are the chances of a second wave increasing?
Just by the way its a bacteria.....so it thickens the blood and removes oxygen from the blood that way.....so anything that thins the blood like eating ginger in food and aspirin from time to time will make sure u will be good is the answer
@SW-User okay

@Justsimple Most of the collateral and persistent damage is caused by the changes it makes to blood.

It is effectively over in Aus & NZ & declining elsewhere mostly, I was thinking in terms of a big increase in numbers which would effectively create that 2nd wave that people are talking about.@DarlingSelah

Until there is a vaccine, yes. The toughest part is 40% of people with COVID-19 have no symptoms but thinking they are fine spread it around to others.
Definitely a bigger one

@Justsimple The mortality rate is not that great. The virus itself would die out if it were.
@malizz this is just a test dummy to see how it affects us

@Justsimple Agree - it should provide valuable data.

More likely to be caused by suppressing those viruses that can't survive lockdown. The resistant ones are already starting to evolve and will likely increase exponentially. The spike caused by rioters will help reduce the later wave.

And the worst part is that the BAME community are the ones who are hit the most with Covid 19 ..... and the elderly so the protests won’t help the situation at all. So incredibly heartbreaking 🥀

There's one here now. We keep "breaking the record" for the most hospitalized cases. More last Thursday than there was anytime in March or April.

There was a study on this it seemed to show masks were effective enough in outdoor spaces not to cause a second spike.
Yes its inevitable as states are opening up and people think things are getting back to normal so they dont wear their masks, etc

It’s a summer surge
It already has
The first one has hung on for quite a while. Surprisingly it’s been less because of protests (the protesters wear masks) and more because groups of foolish people are starting to have parties again like nothing has changed.
