Yup. It's like turning the tap off once your house is flooded. The English government have been absolutely inept and incompitent when they had more warning than most and the people were complaining at them to do something. Absolute fucking morons.

@4meAndyou UK has always been quite left compared to a lot of places. One of the reasons brexit happened for a lot of people was to be seperated from the EU ideology/control so the country's interests would be put first. So it's difficult to say when speaking about the whole country. British government is infamously pretty shit though so 🤷‍♂️
