New Covid 19 symptom

Not a symptom yet. Observed and hypothesized by one team of researchers.

The crucial part of this determination (assuming it turns out to be valid) isn't so much the problem of hair loss so much as the discovery of a link between androgen and the COVID virus. This could lead to an anti-androgen vaccine or treatment development.

That's really weird if true. It's supposed to be a respiratory illness, so the fact that it's signalling skin cells at the scalp to kill off hairs is odd. I guess the immune system works in mysterious ways
