@Stereoguy My body is super resistant to any foreign substance and my immune system goes into overdrive.. Might be better to take the chance than get very sick. I don’t ever take flu or pneumonia shots either.

@Stereoguy I’ve been deathly sick due to allergies.

@Stereoguy Not recently. The last time was a couple of years ago. But I take Allegra or Zyrtec everyday and sometimes Atarax. And get allergy shots every month and still have to stay on top of it. I use a Nettie pot as well as as use Nasavort or Flonase frequently. I have a hard time even with allergy shots as I suffer when my immune system comes to the defense in each arm each month I receive the shots one in both arms. They sting, burn, swell and itch for about 24 hours but so far they have kept me well. I have a deviated septum which makes it all worse...

I took allergy shots, but they made my allergies way worse. I had to inject myself every other day in both arms for two different types of allergies. @SW-User

@Streamofconsciousness wow! Mine are horrid. I felt like I’m choking while the pollen was heavy.. and fall is even worse!

@SW-User Mine is like that too. I got flu vaccines before and got very sick afterwards.

@purplepen Everything in my spirit tells me I’d be sick from it too and right now I dont have time to be sick...

@SW-User Same here. Maybe the vaccine would be good for some people but not others. We have to know our own bodies and how they are likely to react to various things.

@purplepen exactly!
