How bad can alcoholism get?

Alcohol can make you an asshole but drugs can make you do far worse

Alcohol kills brain cells as well as drugs.

Alcohol is a drug and in my family has caused a lot of heartache. I’m hopeful that things turn soon as it will lead to no good.

Both can make you do things you wouldn't normally do, but I think drugs are far worse

I was pallbearer to a serial abuser of alcohol. 7 years ago.
First it took his mind, then his life. But not before destroying a family.

While not as wild and unpredictable as drug use, no less damaging.

An intervention may be in order for your friend. Mine would still be here had someone cared at 15 years old.

I've.. Done quite a few odd things while intoxicated and many regrettable things .-.

Let me just say, had I not done those things.. Maybe I wouldn't be drinking as much as I do now
