No, but sometimes think objectively when you need to, just to help yourself out if necessary.

It is ok - but constantly hearing someone's woes can drain the listener. Can't be an emotional dumping ground all the time
I think you should post whatever you want...there are those who will choose to read it.

As for me, I’ve learned over the years that people are more likely to read about something funny or sexual.

Some days I write for myself other days I just write.

To me, hearing about other people's struggles isn't a burden. If I can help, I will.

The burden is when you try to help them with their struggle(s) and they make no effort. I mean, everyone has some issues going on in their lives and they don't need more issues.

In the real world I would but I’m here for entertainment. To escape serious things and I’m not a psychologist so I avoid it all and skip to mindless things.
Bushmanoz · 56-60, M
@Keepitsimple See, that's just it, people can skip it if they need or want to. So it shouldn't stop people letting others know
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
I agree. Some people really enjoy the deep stuff but I can’t do it. Just being honest. You should share whatever you want to here though. @Bushmanoz
Some people are more sensitive than others, more empathic, so they can feel the pain of others more acutely. If their cup is already fall, it could overflow.

My sister is going through this. She's had an indiagnosed condition of incessant leg pain and stiffness EVERY day, no answers. No doctor can figure it out. My family member who granted, lost two of their immediate family members within a year, has never asked her once personally how she's doing. The two family members passed two years ago. He says he can't be around 'negativity' and needs to think of his life. 🙁😯 She's felt like she's going to die many times, so to say you can't even hear ANYTHING about her condition seems unbelievable to me.

What's going on. Tell me of you need me.

Bushmanoz · 56-60, M
@Fungirlmmm your offer goes the same for you by the way.
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
@Bushmanoz Thanks. I'm going great today
We can't talk about anything like this, though. SW doesn't want to hear anything about it.

We can't struggle with anything because people will block us or just chant that we need help like a stuck record, rather than accepting that, maybe talking about it is our help and coping mechanism.
Bushmanoz · 56-60, M
@HootyTheNightOwl i dont think thats true for everyone on here
@Bushmanoz Sure, there are a minority of people who care and genuinely want to help... but there are others who will be unhelpful or even block you out right for daring to talk about feelings or emotions.

There's a lot about my abuses that I've struggled with alone and I still struggle with it rather than talking it out here because of the lottery that you get on the night.

I know that there are a few who support me no matter what I post about, but there are others who post comments that aren't even worthy of a response.
Bushmanoz · 56-60, M
@HootyTheNightOwl well you haven't lost anything if those sort of people block you. It saves you the effort
SwampFlower · 31-35, F
I could have posted this about someone I know 😂
Bushmanoz · 56-60, M
@SwampFlower escuse me? Do I know you?
I'm not always the best at advice, but I'm always there to listen if getting things out helps others.
ExtremeNext · 31-35
Yes it shits me

Takes me enough time to look after myself without some little bitch being a cry baby
Wiseacre · F
Not a burden, however, sometimes ppl have the mistaken belief we can fix their problems..we are not shrinks!
Miram · 31-35, F
You are very caring.
DDonde · 31-35, M
Absolutely not.
