Is it a burden to hear about other peoples struggles?

Asking for a friend. We all have out own struggles and stories and burdens, but does it add to yours to hear what someone else is going through? I personally don't feel it does. And people should feel free to share what's going on in their lives, of course their will be the usual dickheads who are negative and that's their way of being edgy, and all they offer, but those people are like farts in a tornado. So I personally say post what's going on, we are growd ups, we can handle it

We can't talk about anything like this, though. SW doesn't want to hear anything about it.

We can't struggle with anything because people will block us or just chant that we need help like a stuck record, rather than accepting that, maybe talking about it is our help and coping mechanism.

@HootyTheNightOwl i dont think thats true for everyone on here
@Bushmanoz Sure, there are a minority of people who care and genuinely want to help... but there are others who will be unhelpful or even block you out right for daring to talk about feelings or emotions.

There's a lot about my abuses that I've struggled with alone and I still struggle with it rather than talking it out here because of the lottery that you get on the night.

I know that there are a few who support me no matter what I post about, but there are others who post comments that aren't even worthy of a response.

@HootyTheNightOwl well you haven't lost anything if those sort of people block you. It saves you the effort
