I'm not sure how he could take it more seriously. He is doing all he can.

@StrictSouthernHOH He is not doing everything. He should lock your whole country down - like China did, and they contained it. Like many other countries in the world are doing. He has all the tools he needs, but is being a complete muppet (sorry Jim Henson) by being more worried about the economy than his people.

@StrictSouthernHOH It looked as if he was down playing it in the beginning. I don’t think it was particularly smart to say it was no big deal, it gave people a false sense of security.

@StrictSouthernHOH Like Australia, he was slow to lock the country down and educate people about social distancing. The fact is when other countries have done this the infection rate starts to drop off immediately. I was flabbergasted when I heard our stupid leaders babbling on about “modeling” how about not trying to reinvent the wheel and do as China did, save the modeling for the catwalk.

@snofan He cannot unilaterally lock down the whole country.
That would violate our Constitution and states' rights. He cannot even limit interstate travel without the approval of the same congress that impeached him and has obstructed him since his inauguration.
