Bearing in mind there is nothing new on the Earth, where did coronavirus originate? Some biowar lab fooling around to make GM flu?

Coronavirus dates back to the 1960s but it is probably older and just not identified. SARS specifically showed up around 2002. That's when it became a serious issue for us. It is found in various mammals and birds. Probably humans caught it off them

@Qwerty14 Was SARS found to be a man-made toxin for use in germ warfare?
@Marganitbatadam I find it unlikely. Labs do work with viruses, but usually to understand them and find cures. When they get out, it's usually by accident, not intention.
