It mutates constantly and we likely will have a surge every winter and there’s no telling if the winter variant will be more or less deadly. Because it wasn’t contained we and future generations all get to live with and die with it

It will be gone by summer

@cherokeepatti I’m not laughing
I’m genuinely trying to get fact to your point. If you have something factual to say say it. You're waffling around a topic and it’s not coming over as a coherent point.

@yeronlyman no I would have to spend so much time and people like you seem to want to argue rather than doing some research on your own and I don’t have time for arguing nonsense. End of discussion

Covid19 will dissipate in the summer. I feel like end of June, warm and even hot weather will eventually defeat it. It will probably return, to a lesser degree, in the late fall..late November or early December.
Viruses usually mutate and evolve in order to survive and defeat the things that are trying to kill them...which is why flu vaccines need to be changed up so often.
ALL viruses actually enjoy cold weather. They are able to reproduce more readily when it is cold.

Sure.. and nuclear war and all kinds of other things like total economic collapse a solar flare that takes down the electrical grid.. and an asteroid impact. All kinds of shit could go down.. but that's no way to live.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Coppercoil The chances of a mutated virus are much, much higher than nuclear war, total economic collapse, a solar flare taking down the electrical grid, and an asteroid impact. This is one reason there is so much (warranted) concern about the coronavirus.

Yes, it’s also possible you get by a bus next time you cross the street
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@DownTheStreet Yes, but the chances of the virus mutating are much, much higher than getting hit by a bus the next time you cross the street.
goliathtree · 56-60, M
There is only one way to avoid this. We have to panic breed our way out of this mess. The question is, are you going to help?
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@goliathtree people are listening to CNN too much
goliathtree · 56-60, M
@cherokeepatti shhhhhh! Don't ruin my chances!
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
I think that's possible but unknown currently, as are a number of other details about it :(
UsernameAlreadyInUse · 26-30, M
yes it will mutate and evolve into more resilient form so it can survive in the infected host body longer and increase the change to spread.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@UsernameAlreadyInUse We don't know that, but it certainly is possible.
