What a Time to Need a Root Canal

Being in the high risk category, I wanted to keep away from medical facilities, but the pain was so bad that I had to see the dentist. Now I need a root canal. 😢 There goes my staying away from people.

I know the timing is bad but just make sure wash your hands often. In the meantime I have an appointment on Tuesday which I'm not looking forward to because of the venue.

I am. I’m taking a lot of precautions, and hope they are enough. I’m only leaving the house once or twice a week, now the snow has melted. I’ve become paranoid about it. I don’t need the Corona virus for me to get a bad respiratory infection. I get those easily at the best of times, @SageWanderer Is this an absolute necessity for you to attend? The guidelines now are for those 60+ and/or with underlying medical conditions to stay away from crowds, and group events. If you don’t have to go, I wouldn’t.

@Carissimi The appointment is in an outpatient hospital clinic but it's with my therapist so i should be able to avoid those who are there for sickness. As for health, other than the runs of a-fib which are now controlled with the oblation I don't have underlying conditions. As for my wife, we do what we have done for years as to keeping infections at bay.

Okay. Good luck. The advice is to stand 6-feet away from others. I’m doing it, and even asked people to stand back from me. @SageWanderer

@Carissimi Good idea! I'll be fine as my worry is bringing something home. From back in our medical days we use decontamination protocol when I return from being in a crowd.

Good. Better safe than sorry. Some people think it’s nothing because they may not get symptoms, not realizing they could infect someone who is vulnerable , and could actually die. I don’t care if some think I’m eccentric, or overreacting, it’s my life, and that’s what is important to me. @SageWanderer

@Carissimi I agree. My wife is in that vulnerable category so I'm extra careful when I get home. Even the regular flu could be deadly in the right conditions.

Exactly. @SageWanderer
