Why are calories different for people?

Why is it I have two friends that eat 10,000 calories a day and I eat 2000 or less and I weigh more than both if them put together? This sucks being forever on a diet just to be overweight anyway.

As stated, not everyone has the same metabolism, and other than differences in activity level, it’s also often based upon genetics. It really isn’t fair.😒
