After how many hours person do hypothyroid blood test after taking iodine ?

@HannahSky I think she is referring to the thyroid uptake test. You have to avoid foods with iodine for 10 days and then you go in and have to swallow this iodine pill. They give it about 6 hours and do a scan. Then 24 hours they do the test again. It rules out graves disease and other autoimmune diseases.

@HannahSky They use a similar test for pancreas and gallbladder. It is called nuclear something another testing. Unfortunately I have had them all. Your thyroid can really mess you up if it is off even a tiny bit.
