Why do I feel depressed before going to work?

I'm usually OK when I get there but it's just before I leave, or even the night before, it's quite daunting, I'm sure I'm not the only one to feel like this. I sometimes have the overwhelming and agonizing feeling I'm going to fail at my job and lose it. Negative thoughts I know.
