Is this normal for doctors (see below)?

She says she's willing to take me on if I keep to a number of things including scrapping all my 'preconceived ideas about what's wrong with me,' going off my current prescription and going through months of testing just to see if I really have migraines. And more batteries of tests to see if I actually have seizures. I already have a diagnosis of migraines and a 'provisional diagnosis' of seizures after EEG's confirmed them years ago. I also have a diagnosis of vasovagal syncope. I would also have to totally comply with everything she told me.

It would be hard for me if the current treatment plan is working for me. If it’s not then maybe a change is in order. Medicine is constantly evolving. That’s why it’s called the practice of medicine. Practice until you get it right.
