Do you think its okay to skip school this long?

Hiya. I've been suffering this intense cough for near on a week now and so I've been taking time off school until I feel better.

But I fear that a week might be too much. I just wanted to get someone's opinion. Xxx

Intense cough for nearly a week? Have you been checked out by a doctor? Just asking because that is not something to mess around with...it might not get better but worse. It could land you in the hospital or worse.
