Why is it considered normal to bathe/shower daily?

It didn't become normal until relatively recently in history, and dermatologists are saying it's not really good for our skin, unless we are getting dirty/sweaty every single day.

To wash off the 30lbs of dead skin cells that otherwise flake off each yr everywhere we go. So we're only leaving 10lbs worth a yr that work their way through the weave in the bed sheets for the dust mites to eat off our mattress. So the perspiration that goes bacterial within 2 hours and multiplies at exponential rates every 6 hours doesn't make us stench like a passed out drunk that lives in a trash heap. So we don't get head lice to pingpong from school kids to their parents back to more kids. So our hair that falls out or breaks each day isn't scattered in every office store and workplace, ..and that dull grease matted mess doesn't fall out on the crown of our heads when we're 28.

Little things like that.
@SteelHands little things like that 😂🙌🏽

@SteelHands lice actually don't come out in a wash and prefer cleaner hair

@Jackaloftheazuresand An infested scalp doesn't stop from good hygiene it's true. It can be prevented, however and lice are much easier to transfer on a dirty comb, head cover, pillowcases and even sticky fingers.

Use soap. You'll be glad you do.
