If you are walking 20 minutes there, and 20 minutes back, you are walking for 40 minutes every day, and that in itself will do you a lot of good. If you keep up the habit for a while, you may find that you have the stamina to do the whole journey on foot, or at least to do it one way on foot and one way by bus or by a combination of bus and walking. Keep that walking up!

Yes you save time. And if time is important to you, fair enough!
But, if you're not really one for exercise then that walk is probably doing you more good than you know !

I timed myself tried it there and back it really crippled my feet and legs I thought I could keep it up with walking there and back but i have had to take bus only had afew people call me lazy and give me funny looks.

No... A 50 minute walk to work is pretty long so taking the bus is a good option
