What is your opinion of this? Planned parenthood is now suing to force doctors and nurses to perform abortions even if that is against their religion.

In Canada, at least the Hippocratic oath comes before religion, the courts have made that clear. If you take yourself into the care of others, you subside your beliefs in care of your patients, and while you can practice your own belief you can't have it infringe upon rights a patient has who has no little choice in their doctor, while the doctor has a choice in being a doctor. How people mistake this is beyond me

@SW-User I was listening to a doctor discuss that very issue tonight. He said that his oath is to save a life that is in his care. "First do no harm", is the way it is stated in the Hippocratic oath.
He said of course he would always do that.
But, he also stated that planned parenthood has made thousands of claims that they only exist to provide women's health care, and that they are NOT all about abortions.
Supposedly, if they are not lying, they provide normal ob-gyn services, mammograms, pap smears, and so on.
I wonder if every nurse is forced to sign paperwork in advance of her hire stating that she can be yanked away from ob-gyn to assist in an abortion. Or if every ob-gyn doctor can be yanked away from caring for pregnant women and forced to perform an abortion if that is not his normal job.
Planned parenthood, (or so I've heard), is positioning themselves so they don't have to hire or retain the services of those who have religious objections, which would, normally, be a violation of a hiree's constitutional right to practice their religion. I am told planned parenthoods case will be thrown out of court for that very reason.

@4meAndyou One, a doctor will and always inform of harm, or should; they have too. Why the emphasis, if they are supposedly, not lying. Which in real life terms if you questioning their Hippocratic oath when another can see it different.
So if you are going to leave things through skewed biased interpretations, may I ask you do you want children with parents unable, do you want children with deep insecurities how their parents didn't want them?
My father made a beautiful parent, but there isn't a day I didn't wish he didn't go through the foster system, that broke him apart. And I find it rich of people to say his life should have happened that way

@SW-User I believe your personal feelings are interfering, in this instance, with your ability to see that "do no harm" means to every life present. It may also obscure your ability to see that there are millions of parents without any children whatsoever who are dying to adopt babies.
