Who here has had a doctor say to you "yes, it's cancer"

Can't just be me.....What did you do with that information? I'm a bit.....stunned. I never share my personal stuff but for some reason I feel compelled to share this. There might be folks here who can help me get it into perspective

I'm so sorry to read this Fernie. I've had it happen to people I love and found myself in the caretaker role. The best advice I can give you is to find a good friend to be your health advocate. It's so much to process early on, and keeping all the information you're receiving straight is very difficult. It's hard to think about the questions you need to ask because you go into panic mode. If you don't have anyone in your life who can be with you every step of the way, I have a suggestion for a book that I found to be very useful and became my bible. Actually, even if you have someone helping you, I highly recommend you buy it. I can't get into detail atm, but it lays everything out that you need, to be fully informed to make the right decision for your situation, along with all the resources available to you. And, if you want to talk, I'm available in PM. 🤗🤗🤗🤗😘
