What can you do to shorten a cold? I haven't had one in so long I've forgotten.

There's no solution for cold except reliefs to deal with nasal congestion

@midnightsun I did take a half dose of decongestant last night. I also tried sniffing ground horseradish, which is supposed to be a natural cure when you just can't take any more pills.

Today I am sneezing and coughing and my nose is running.

@4meAndyou as I said, there's no cure.

If you want, search in google . Basically cold is caused by dozens of different viruses . It's impossibly hard to diagnose the virus and create a new drug to solve the problem.

But all it takes is a few days for it to go away. So there's no motivation to create a solution for cold.
