Do you all go the the DR for the flu?

Or do you ride it out, since it’s viral and literally time and rest is all that seems to beat it?

Yes, being diabetic and asthmatic doesn't pay to wait

Doctors are more than happy to prescribe "Tamaflu", it has been known to have serious side effects including death. It's that way with any reason you go to the doctor. They know they are causing harm, they just don't care.

I didn't get the flu for over 40 years. Once I started getting the shots, I got it several times.

If I still have the flu after a week I'll make an appointment.

Ride it out

I never needed to but I would if I couldn’t get fluids to stay in me.

I’m thinking of riding it out too. I haven’t had it in 20 years. I forgot how TERRIBLE it is!

Ride it out, unless I have other symptoms.

Only if it gets in my lungs.
Time and rest. Doctors are only for physical injury.
I haven’t actually had the flu in about 12 years, since I started getting the shots.
