My teeth began going bad in my late 20's to early 30's... it started with one bad tooth and then spread from one to another because I had no insurance and couldn't afford to pay for dental work out of pocket. When I did finally find a good paying job complete with insurance it was too late....I had to have them removed and fitted with dentures. Actually the dentures aren't so bad. I can smile and talk again with confidence, and I no longer have to deal with the trouble and pain anymore.

I get my teeth checked regularly. not much work so far

For my age, surprisingly little. I have a crown and two fillings, which will have to be replaced with crowns this year. And other than my four wisdom teeth which were pulled when I was 20, I still have a full set.

Years and years of braces when I was a teenager. Nothing much since.
