@cherokeepatti CBD oil?
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@TexChik Yes it is helping a lot with arthritis, especially in my feet...had problems for a year before taking it.

@cherokeepatti what is it ?
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@TexChik Hemp oil, I buy the full-spectrum kind, the most concentrated that CBD+ sells. Take a few drops in the a.m. and in the p.m.

@TexChik I've had arthritis for 25 years and can't use the medications that doctors recommend because they are too harsh on my stomach. I have used herbal remedies previously such as ginger tea & boswellia (and stopped eating wheat which was inflaming large joints like hip joints)...but this past year it got bad popping my joints, creaking bones & pains in my feet, I was hobbling around. I also had psoriasis, a large patch on my stomach. It helped with that but the skin was still building up and drying (to the point I was shaving off the flakes to help with itching). But finally got the psoriasis stopped & I believe it was the vanilla extract I am putting in my smoothies each day. There is a medical research study done in China about vanillin & psoriasis and how it calms the inflammation.

@cherokeepatti Hemp ? Obviously it’s legal . My husband’s grandmother told me that she used to sneak off to the barn and smoke the old buggy whips ( hemp)😉

Glad it works . What’s in your smoothies?

@TexChik Greenish banana, golden flax meal, almond meal, a lid full of vanilla, a tablespoon of dark cocoa and a few packets of stevia, if I have hemp seeds I put some of those in too.

@cherokeepatti I did a lot of research for a friend of mine on foods that cause inflammation (as I am sure you have done), and the Tom Brady diet is an anti-inflammatory diet.

@4meAndyou I have a sensitivity to certain foods with salicylates in them, can't take aspirin or drink wine because of it. Am thinking raspberries and some other foods were bothering my joints too. It seems to be genetic, both grandmothers had a salicylate sensitivity too.
