Why do I keep hallucinating spiders?

Right so I keep seeing spiders out of the corner of my eye, it’s as if they’re running past me, but obviously they aren’t really there and it’s gettinf a bit irksome now. It’s not necessarily hypnopompic, it doesn’t happene exclusively to when I wake up from sleep, it strikes at anytime.

Something is wrong, and you need to see a neurologist. I used to work with patients with alzheimers and dementia, and seeing spiders is a symptom of their two diseases. I am completely unsure with someone your age, but it is not a good sign. It's really best if you see a neurologist asap.
