There are a number of prescription drugs linked to the onset of diabetes, my aunt took a heart drug and was diagnosed as a diabetic within 3 months. My sister was a nurse and said it happens and they don't know who it will affect this way when they prescribe the drugs.

@cherokeepatti I'm not taking chances. A holistic doctor I saw recommended niacin and fish oil for it along with a dietary change, so I'm going that way.

@Zaphod42 I just starting taking fish oil (to enhance the CBD oil I'm also taking) 2 weeks ago because I found one brand that is burp-free. Norwegian Gold Omega-3's....lady at Sprouts showed me. I tried taking fish oil about 20 years ago and it was horrible burping a fish flavor all day.
