@fumialari no my recollection is a lot less sinister. Passive smoking was becoming a major health issue. Doctors campaigned hard for the laws. I’m 100% for them. Why should majority be exposed to the air pollution of a few.

pubs and clubs have certainly felt the drop in profits..
ppl stay at home and drink and smoke now..
only the boring lifeless hapless fuckers hang out in pubs now..
no atmosphere left.
