Got my blood test results today

Seems I'm a tad ...dangerously low on vitamin d. I actually didn't know that it can effect you a lot. Unable to sleep because it can cause lower back pain, depression and a bunch of other stuff which can explain a lot.

Either lay in the sun as nude as possible, or hit a tanning bed. It's the fastest way for your body to take in Vit D.

@billdodge A tanning bed will never provide you with the vitamin D that you need, nor is it safer than tanning outdoors. ... But it is UVB (the sun burning rays) — not UVA — which helps the skin make vitamin D, so you are increasing your risk of skin cancer without receiving any benefit!
Can a tanning bed safely provide me with the vitamin D I need? - ...

If you use an older bulb tanning bed and limit your time, It works great. I know that first hand, I suffered from the same problem. Supplements were not being absorbed. I bought my own tanning bed due to cost of sessions, Plus the need for older lower power bulbs

@billdodge Okay. I only know what I learn from researching a few sources. I've never heard of any light source that provides vitamin d

Tanning beds with proper bulbs will restore vit D and not give you cancer. There's studies on this subject.

@billdodge well, I guess I wasn't asking the right questions. I found this, but I still wouldn't risk it. It doesn't sound safe to me. But if your body doesn't absorb supplements, this might be a viable option.
