It is merely a placebo effect you're paying for. Our bodies does not have hidden spots or tangled nerves that are stimulated through pressure with needles.
Nebula · 41-45, F
We most definitely have pressure points. I can take you down to the ground with one finger.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@Nebula Yeah if I poke you through your eye socket with my finger and drag you down then surely that will be quite effective, that's not what we're discussing here though. Stimulation is what we are talking about, a healing effect. But don't mind me, I've just heard doctors discussing it.

You shouldn't hang out with drug dealers.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@MartinTheFirst @Nebula It's true though... acupuncture is a mental trick that satisfies the distraction of pain the mind has created. That's not necessarily bad for immediate pain relief, but it doesn't address the longer term issue and doesn't really resolve any physical structural issue. You will simply become dependent on the placebo.

@MarkPaul Thank you Robbin. To the batmobile!
Nebula · 41-45, F
So what is the answer?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@MartinTheFirst Yes... our job here is done. To the Batmobile! Can I drive?
Nebula · 41-45, F
I want answers

I want pain relief, so placebo effects will work
Nebula · 41-45, F

MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@MartinTheFirst Yes, of course... What was I thinking? [Mumbles to himself... "I knew I should have worn a tie today."]
