Why doesn’t other countries wear surgical mask when sick

It’s common here in Korea and also Japan. I wear it all the time when I get a cold or allergy season. Also celebrities often wear them to hide their appearance or for pollution. It nice and other counties should do it.

It’s considerate too since you’re not making other sick

Different cultures. For me to put on a mask in front of them would be isolating to them.

@SakiSaki I understand. Just different cultures. Here it would be rude to people's feelings. (Which are real) Conversely spread of illness/disease helps who??

@SakiSaki In logic, yes. I agree with you. But any day you are at risk, and those who pose most risk in health probably are not in the hospital yet, so ... what to do?
