Industrial farming is one of the worst crimes in history

I'm not fully vegan or vegetarian, but since I started eating more like one, I've seen many benefits in my body/health, and I found that I actually like Salads / Veggie Soups than meat food. I just had to find the right ingredients/foods. I still eat seafood / fish, and when I eat meat, I try to prefer those labeled organic, or from a well-known good Butcher (with their own farm).

For the sake of your health, avoid supermarket or buffet/canteen meats... and try to find organic foods instead.

Very good article, if you want to read:

There are many videos about this subject, but here is a good one where you can see how the animals live before you eat them.

Full of diseases, stress, dirty, etc... do you think this is healthy for you?

I've been vegan and vegetarian and it's been my experience that people really don't care to know what they're eating. Even when you tell them some of the horrors you've discovered it at first appears like they think you are lying. If someone publishes a book about the famously litigious McDonalds (amongst others) and it stays in print, you know it's not only true, but only the portion of what is going on that can't be disputed by lawyers. People have no argument against this logic and I think find it uncomfortable because in these cases, if you want to keep eating meat, it is much better to remain in ignorance.

@BlueRain I think the farmers themselves might be surprised by what happens after the livestock leaves. One caveat I should give is that this practice was described in a book that was written in 2001 and I don't know if this process is still widespread, just that it was when the book was published.

I have also been to slaughter houses. I didn’t read, I experienced.

@BlueRain I haven't been to slaughterhouses, but I do trust that McDonalds and their suppliers wouldn't allow a book to remain in print if the allegations could be challenged in any way.

Comming from the cattle farmers mouth (that's me). All my cattle are raised on my farm. All calves are sold to a private buyer where they grow up naturally and yes they are put on feed lots to feed them every 4 hrs. But they do get to the pasture. And excersize to strengthen their bodies instead of lying there getting fat. I care for all my cattle as pets.....

Farming also keeps non meat eaters alive.

Have you ever been to a cattle farm and asked questions? I have.
NunoP · 31-35, M
@BlueRain What answers did you get?
BlueRain · 51-55, F
that there are strict health guidelines when cattle is slaughtered.

Organic is no better for you or the environment. In many ways it’s worse. Lower yields, nastier chemicals...
Not enough...must to be organic all yr food
NunoP · 31-35, M
@WorldsForgottenBoy Yep - I try to get everything I can organic. Unfortunately, not everything I want to eat seems to have an organic version :(
@NunoP A healthy life requires sacrifices...you must to ate only organic food...they needs to fucking understand...THE FUCKING FARMERS
