Would bad teeth be off putting to you when talking to someone?
Would it infulence how you see that person? Say on a date would it be particularly important? And were talking like yellowed and slightly worn away, maybe a slight chip.

It depends on the severity, chips and staining are forgivable, missing one tooth is alright, but if they have many teeth missing, holes, and extreme discoloration I wouldn't even ask them out.
