try to obtain lean meats, eggs, grass fed dairy.... frozen if not fresh vegetables/fruits.

@sighmeupforthat You need to eat carbs for energy. Plus, vegetables are carbs btw. I think it's fine to eat carbs, just depending on what type. Substitute with pasta made from chickpeas, for example, or eat sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes. I eat carbs for every meal and have a lean body. I stay away from dairy, but because my body doesn't like it. Weight-loss is 75% diet, she can eat what she likes but in moderation.
