Mine's still going strong

SW-User
I did have mine out years ago. Now , I don't want to brag, and I realize size isn't everything, but....the doctors did tell me that mine was one of the biggest they ever saw. 🤗

@ZenKitzune do you like this song? I love Chicago. Mostly the earlier years, but it's all pretty good in my eyes...er...ears?
ZenKitzune · F
@SW-User yeah lol I will leave youtube on autoplay no and listen to more :)

@ZenKitzune Perfect background music. Mellow. Some times I like to fall asleep to music like this. I rarely listen to Chicago when I'm driving long distances for that reason. lol

Yes, and it is the best. I love my appendix so much.
Persephone · 51-55, F
Years ago they used to think that since it had no obvious purpose it would be sensible to take them out routinely as a preventive measure. Now they don't remove them unless absolutely necessary. Mine is still intact.
ZenKitzune · F
@Persephone both my parents had emergency surgery on theirs, I remember being scared every time I had a pain in my side lol
ISMELLPROTEINPOWDER · 22-25, M
@ZenKitzune gotta think about it carefully and squeeze your appendix
ISMELLPROTEINPOWDER · 22-25, M
I think it's a very annoying and bacteria breeding feature that's unessary
ZenKitzune · F
@ISMELLPROTEINPOWDER It used to be necessary
ISMELLPROTEINPOWDER · 22-25, M
@ZenKitzune nessary until it blows a fuse with intense pain than surgery all removal

A co-worker had to have hers removed. It could happen to any of us at any time. 🙀
Byron8by7 · M

ZenKitzune · F

Shaun · 26-30, M

ZenKitzune · F

Tatsumi · 31-35, M

Vestigial organ.
Tracos · 51-55, M
@valhalla nope it's not....
...it's the safety storage of your intestinal flora...

..if you have a bad case of diarrhoea and your gut bacteria have all been flushed out, that's where the repopulation of a healthy gut starts.
valhalla · M
@Tracos After severe appendicitis, I had to have mine removed.
I still have mine.
SW-User
