Do you still have your appendix?

Both my parents had to have theirs removed so I grew up thinking it was going to happen to me at any moment..but I don't think I know anyone who's had theirs out.

...it's the safety storage of your intestinal flora...

..if you have a bad case of diarrhoea and your gut bacteria have all been flushed out, that's where the repopulation of a healthy gut starts.

@Tracos After severe appendicitis, I had to have mine removed.
