Do u prefer a male or female nurse?

I am a male nurse. But i never experience difficulties with male or females when nursing. But i hear from others that especially male nurses have difficulties to be accepted in most fields.

I don't really care which gender as long as they know what they are doing. I had mean male nurses and mean female nurses. One left a blown IV in my arm, while another nurse did not even bother to do her job while I was in the hospital with a hole in my lung.

@Snowvixen ouch FFS. What is it with the sadists and ones that don't care about their job? One yanked a tube out of my stomach causing bruising from navel to thigh :-(

@SW-User I have no idea, I wish they had to do a yearly ethics evaluation for a lot of them. I know nurses are overworked and burnt out but these are people's health they are caring for.

@SW-User i Have some female colleagues and i wonder why on esrth they became a nurse. They are monsters!

@Vestorius I once had a female nurse say that it was patients like me that made her night the worse. I just had my youngest and she said that. I was like bitch I just had a c-section!
