Good support shoes. No barefoot. Rest. Elevate. Ice. Roll a hard small ball (size of a ball hockey ball) under the sole of your foot several times daily-about 10 minutes at a time. I had to give up soccer for a long period of time to rest it. It is fine now.

@PoetryNEmotion Thank you! This issue has been off and on for quite some time. Until recently has it become consistent. I'll try the ball idea.

@JoeBeez I feels good and helpful to the bottom of the foot to do this. You have to stretch it. And ice is good too. Good luck. You may just have to stop aggravating it. Hard to rest, but if it heals...

I saw a specialist who made an arch support to wear in my shoe. It felt strange to use but it did make a difference.
It's extremely painful and uncomfortable. I kept walking through the pain but eased off the intensity.

agree when you first start using supports they feel strange it took me about 3 months to get used to them while the skin toughened up.

My PF is caused by fallen arches, I was having pain just walking but then I got arch supports. Buy them off the internet as long as they have a firm arch support they are great. I'm currently running 40-50 mpw with no problems.

Are you running on too hard a surface/without enough support?
JoeBeez · 46-50, M
@SW-User It's a recurring issue, I have been running on random surfaces and just dealing with the pain afterwards. Not enough support for sure

@JoeBeez Take care of your feet, use cushioned soles. Have breaks. Otherwise just accept it. Happens when feet are used a lot
