I often do. Not always due to mistakes I have made during my day...But I think of things I said during when I thought nobody was close by. Words I spoke to another and wonder how he/she might have taken it differently than how I wanted it delivered. Too often my thoughts become verbal. They are not simply in my mind.
@Carla1951 I understand what you are going through. I sometimes feel this way. It's so difficult to let go when these kinds of thoughts come into our minds. Now, whenever this happens, I tell myself, I'm not the only one. This calms me down and helps a lot.
Yes I do. Either thinking of what-might-of-beens when things go wrong and next time do it differently to get what I want from life or the next step when things go right.
@Robynthebeautiful I understand. It's exhausting. I learned though that life is not totally in our control, so overthinking would never solve a problem or change the past. Plus, the future is never guaranteed.
@Madeleine Yes, I know. I was with a new woman last night in her bed having fun and she was asking me about our future and I tended to over think to answer her questions. We are at the moment to take a day at a time and see where it leads.
I would say, most of the time. But that's just ME.I tend to worry over things I shouldn't. It's out of my hands. It's not my problem, but another's. It still doesn't stop my worrying.
