Yes.
Addressing the initial problem, excercice, getting a healthy rhythme, healthy diet, meditations, productive hobbies, therapy and as a last resort;medication. Meds never work alone.

Yes, it nothing easy. But there is hope as long as we don't give up.

@Miram When a person is depressed...all of those things are extremely difficult to do...it is paralyzing to many people who suffer from it

@Fernie I know. But we aren't powerless and as long as we are breathing, trying is possible.

@Miram Have you battled depression in your life?
Miram · 31-35, F
@Fernie I have CPTSD. It's a part of it.

@Miram everyone's depression is different...so many levels
Miram · 31-35, F
@Fernie of course. All mental illnesses are different from person to another. That's why there are individualistic approaches to therapy. It's just the nature of our brains. No two brains are the same.

@Miram agreed, which is why it really makes no sense to just suggest all those things you suggested without knowing the level that person is at

@Fernie She asked a general question. She didn't say what is the way out from my own?

Even in that case, my answer doesn't dismiss our differences. And it does include suggesting therapy. Professionals are better at determining her best treatment.
