Thank you for this post and I agree to the last paragraph provided we work enough to earn a living and not loose ourselves in competing with others. Just curious, does location has any role to play with happiness?

I like living in the UK in general, especially the place where I am. Two things bring it down somewhat: 1) The amount of motor traffic and 2) the politics and the politicians.

I have a hunch that the location doesn't have as much to do with my unhappiness as my own approach to life does. But I might be mistaken. I live in Europe.
