I do miss one user
Can't say she's friend since we didn't talk that much
It seems rude
So ok
We are friends then and now
But it was one of the earliest interactions I hv on here
Just over comments only
And then I went off for sometime
When I came back I see she's not active here anymore
And I only knew few of her details
We both are Asians
So I can't check much
It has been months
I think sometimes

I don't know why so many have left. Do you think it could be for the same reason rats desert a ship?

I, for one, get bored with the content 🥱, and with not finding much substance in what people have to say. Oh, every once in a while, I'll find something interesting, something meaningful to me, which is a breath of fresh air. And, I [i]do[/i] like chatting with my friends in PMs. But so much of the forum is just superficial nonsense, or political or religious stuff, which I couldn't care less about. It's become progressively easier to walk away from all that.

Sometimes, it's more exciting to watch paint dry. 😒

@PhoenixPhail I have often said this site is a sinking ship. I agree with you sbout the quality of postings being poor. On rare occasions usually one of my friends posts something woryh reading. I know when I see their names, it will be worthwhile. I have a busy life so I pop in snd out. This forum is still the fastest way to reach my inner circle in general. I do video chat and email and pm too.

If they wanted to be in contact with me they could be without being active here otherwise. People drift in and out of contact IRL as well. Accepting it for what it is at this point

@Stillwaiting I have old contacts saved in my hotmail. I reached out to say hi to one. Was not inner circle. He said hi. Immediately tried to sell me his book on some obscure subject. Geez. I cut that short. I have saved messages. Some from those who have since passed on in death. They still touch my heart. I cannot forget some of them. Yes, some could reach out. That is a choice.
