Ever feel like you're slipping?

I know damn well I went to sleep late last night because my youngest kitty went to sleep on my thighs and the dog was laying between my leg and chair arm right beside her. I sleep in Vickie's lift recliner.
But I looked at the clock and it's 10:30am. It feels late and like that sun doesn't belong up.
I reviewed my reply list and there's a 3 hour break after the time I know I went to sleep. I don't remember waking up certainly not that early but the list says I've been yacking here since then.
I'm loosing my mind. H&I didn't change their programming I am watching Saturday morning TV. Now I gotta visit that post and shame myself that I'm going nuts.

Yes I know that feeling!

@Poppies I'm stuck in a sleep cycle that started before Vickie passed. I literally retired a month we were put in lockdown for the pandemic. We got in the habit of watching her favorite TV shows on Start TV. If you don't know it every show has female leading characters. The Closer, Major Crimes, Rizzoli and Isles, The Ghost Whisperer are some examples. Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman was her favorite show which was on at 2 and 3 in the morning. I don't think it's currently on the channel but they rotate. So we started a late night routine from about 4am to noon sleeping. After she passed I kept the same routine but changed TV shows. Not because I didn't like them I couldn't watch them without her. The difference is I now sleep until 2 or 3 in the afternoon. I do nap some days but too long when I do. I don't have any reason to try to transition to my old working schedule. There's nothing in the morning for me. My dog is even on my schedule for going out. He's been doing it since April 2020.

@Gibbon my husband's schedule is something like yours. I say it is like living with someone who is on California time, only he's here in the east with me. Drives me crazy! But it has rubbed off on me a little, not too much.

@Poppies We are both in the East so we get to see the sun first.

You're not going nuts. I sometimes notice that chunks of TV go missing and the credits are rolling before I've understood who committed the evil deed. It's not insanity, just the body closing down for a while to recover.

@FreddieUK I know I was out for about 3 hours. I can prove that to myself. It's the waking I don't recall. I was definitely out of my routine when I turned the TV on and saw Saturday morning shows on. I really thought they changed programming and I was ticked Lol. That was probably around 9:30am. When I actually looked at the clock it was just after 10:30am and my brain realized the sun was still East of the house. Man was I confused. I usually turn the TV on at 4pm and that the time slot I expected to see. Not Saturday morning kids time and Batman Lol. I feel like I time traveled backwards. It's been puzzling me all day.

@Gibbon Very disconcerting.
