I Need to Take Better Care of Myself

[image deleted]Like I said, I was so amused by the doctor's completely baffled look why he couldn't control my persistent high blood sugar level. I didn't tell him I ignored the diet plan prescribed by the dietician. He therefore gave me a new pill and dang! I developed an aversion to food! It's not an exaggeration if I said, to all kinds of food...And I thought I out-witted him. 馃槖

I have been a food addict....

To aim to out smart, to eat whatever......

When you nourish you, that constant HUNGER does subside. Calories just want more calories and more calories. ...like a beast. ...

Low GI foods do help the blood sugar, they in time will help you feel fuller longer.

At this age, you can no longer blame, who or old family for your bad habits. Time to turn your health around.

The effort we put in does pay off, those that give in will never win, to feel the reward of effort.

Also move, when we move, we help the blood take the energy to our body cells, in time your energy will return to feel young again.

Do it, you're life needs you to. ...

@SoFine I am not on the heavy side, in fact my weight is ideal for my height. Hence I tend to disregard dieting. The problem with me is I feel weak and cannot concentrate because I am constantly craving for food esp. sweets. Doctor ultimately advised that I can eat 'everything' but at the proper time, which is hard for me to follow. I am constantly chewing on something. 馃槍

@SW-User the right weight, can not show the true picture, we can have visceral fat around the internal organs. LOWGI foods help the level of blood sugar, is not your blood sugar your issue?

@SoFine Yes, it is the blood sugar level that is uncontrolled. (sigh) 馃様
