I Need to Take Better Care of Myself

[image deleted]Like I said, I was so amused by the doctor's completely baffled look why he couldn't control my persistent high blood sugar level. I didn't tell him I ignored the diet plan prescribed by the dietician. He therefore gave me a new pill and dang! I developed an aversion to food! It's not an exaggeration if I said, to all kinds of food...And I thought I out-witted him. 😒

@Raythedevil It's Metformin+Pioglitazone+Glimepride. In addition to Emphagliflozine/Metformin and two insulin shots am/pm which were my previous meds. 😔

@SW-User Oops, that may not be good, I've seen bad things about Metformin....

@Raythedevil I am aware, as they say metformin is bad for the kidneys. So I asked the doctor if it really causes damage to the kidneys. It was explained that the drug itself doesn't cause damage, but the diabetes itself is the one that causes damage.

No, I'm pre-diabetic and pre-hypertensive, but not fully committed to either yet...I was taking Lisinopril, but have to go get a new doctor, my last one retired last year...but I'm such a procrastinator.
