on that sneaky time in your 40s where you are right on the edge of looking like an old man or woman but not quite yet
I was just thinking about this while listening to one youtuber I like.
You can tell she used to be a total stunner but yet you can also see how she is progressing.
And often I have met people in their 40s tell me that they think they can still pass as 30s or even 20s but they cannot. They just look in the mirror and lean their thinking towards the positive way they want to see themselves. They emphasize less in their minds eye the creases under their eyes or their weight because to accept otherwise would be to recognize that there 30s are LONG gone.
I get this sensation also myself sometimes but have found peace with it just by being very involved with my career and recognizing that some romantic relations I had in the past were really quite extraordinary. I also workout to blunt the curse of aging. This makes it ok for me. Some people aren't ready to say that about themselves yet though.
