I am far more peaceful than I used to be

People still target me and try to hurt me but as opposed to ten years ago, I don't necessarily engage all my ability to hurt them back. 👀 I step out after making a point. And don't go overboard finish them. I can but I don't. I leave them some dignity.

I know what I am capable of. But I choose to keep most of it tamed. Most likely because I fell in love and experienced aspects of life that nurture compassion and care. While I have more to lose now, I also have more to live for.

I used to be ruthless years ago. I don't blame the old me though. She had to protect herself, alone.
