Dementia sucks

My mom has pictures on her wall of all her children and grand children. She thinks they're her cousins.
For a while she thought I was her grandson but now I'm not sure she knows me at all. She just says I'm a good guy.
She still knows my name at least. Sometimes she tells me she has a son with the same name.

i'm sorry you are going through this. before my mom died at 78 (of smoking related illnesses) she was having the same issues as your mom albeit not as bad. but had she lived longer, for sure those mental issues would have progressed...again, sorry you are going through this. i miss my mom very much.
