How young were you when you first heard something that made you feel old?

I was in my late 20's in the 1970's. A friend told me that he went to a movie theater the previous night and overheard a conversation between two teenage girls sitting in front of him.

"You know what? I heard that before Wings, Paul McCartney was in another group called The Beatles!"

When I was in grad school, I heard 2 young girls talking. One of them said that she didn't understand all the fuss about Mick Jagger..."so he has one hit song, so what?"
I looked at them and said "He was making lots of hit songs before you were even born."
They looked at me with a quizzical look....apparently unaware of the fact that he was in The Rolling Stones.

@DragonFruit I remember mid 80's when I thought he was some one hit wonder when he came out with the song "Just another night".

I was like 10 at the time, not much musical knowledge.
