I don’t feel old or look old but I’m always amazed that many emergency services people are younger than me. Other things like when I watch teen tv shows and movies and their parents are my age even though they look in their 40s.

@Gingerbreadspice I was hospitalized twice in the past 2 years. It was at a teaching hospital so many of the nurses were really young.

I felt old when a training employee told me she didn’t really remember dial-up internet - it was only something her grandmother had.
Time flies by!

Hopefully he likes you 🙂 How did your appointment go?

@Musicman He is the best primary care doctor I’ve ever had. He is an osteopath and will work with me when I tell him I don’t want to be on daily meds. He did send me for lab tests, a rheumatologist and other things, but that wasn’t a bad thing. He told me on my first checkup that if I had any medical problems to call him anytime, day, night or weekend. No other doctor has ever done that except the doctor we saw when we lived on a farm, he was also an osteopath. Looked a lot like Doc Adams on Gunsmoke, carried a black medical bag when he came over for house calls.
