how can i cope with my mum getting older

my mum is elderly now...i have always been very close to my mum and adored my mum...but yes, she is elderly and won't be able to spend the usual week with me over the christmas period...she usually would drive down to see me and spend a week with me....but instead my sister is driving her down on christmas day and my mum will spend a couple of hours with me and make my christmas dinner.......i'm just really scared of the time when my mum won't be around and what will happen to me here?....i live alone in a little flat....i have no support network anymore apart from my elderly mum and dad.....they 2 live far from me.....i rely mainly on my mum for so much still....i couldn't bare life without my mum.

I'll tell you enjoy her while she laughs because I remember my mother when she went Alzheimer's she became gentle, demented Alzheimer's, but gentle.🥴🥴

But she also shuffled off in 9 months which I'm really thankful for, because I have talked to people whose parents lost their memory and over a period of 10 to 20 years. 😦😦

Course being the turd I was as a son, I went to Missouri and stayed there until she passed. Then I stayed another year and came back. I hate to think what I would have done had I've been there when she passed, so probably was for the best.
